The German language class was absolutely fun. I had imagined to speak fluent German in a month. What a dream it was !! Well that dream never came true. My expert teacher had told many insanely amusing tales about his life abroad.

There was a Punjabi friend of his who always dreamed of obtaining a PR by any means, after he went Germany. Pursuing his dream he married a German woman. After almost two years, fulfilling all the legal requirements, he finally got a permanent residency. And now he no longer needed his wife.

He expressed his gratitude to his wife by bringing a toy dog home . It was just for her... he said.

There were no bounds of happiness for the lovely woman. The very affectionate wife fell much in love with her husband's gift. She looked after her pet, fed it, played with and selflessly cared for it.

After waiting for some weeks while the fondness of his wife grew stronger for the pet, the Punjabi guy one day came home fully drunk and kicked the dog a mile away. It was when the dispute began.

He complained that she no more cared him, it was only the dog whom she loved. It was meant to be her husband and not him, and so on.

After few quarrelsome days, it was enough for the woman. She filed for a divorce and dramatically both got separated.

There are no boundaries for human selfishness. And the ones who are selfish,  precisely know how to fish.
