I saw a cat in my dream. It stalked and stared at me fiercely. Unafraid i stared back to it into its fierce eyes. It had dark brownish-grey stripes in its gray hide. I knew canines hate being stared in the eyes, but i didn't bother it, because it was just a cat. "I wouldn't do it with a Tiger".
Seemingly strange, my stare and imagination were growing weird. I was getting tricked by my brain or my imagination was turning real, i couldn't understand because the cat had started to grow larger and ferocious. Gradually, the cat started to look more like a Tiger. Gosh! I was shocked. There was a Tiger, roaring and pawing aggressively in front of me.
I couldn't understand what just happened. Nor i knew what to do. Confused, I thought i should get away from it. Probably i should run, but thought that the speedy tiger would easily outrun me. Now the tiger had already started crouching towards me.
I shrunk with fear. In the meantime I imagined hungry tiger ravaging its prey as shown in TV. Today probably i was going to be ripped and ravaged. It roared at me angrily showing its mighty jaws and piercing fangs like it read my mind. I started stepping backwards eyeing it carefully, it was crouching towards me with same speed at which i was moving backwards.
I could not go on backwards like that for too long and that tiger would definitely grab me. The tiger then seemed to approach faster towards me. I got really worried and hastily started thinking for a way to live. "I needed a something to fight at least" - i thought. I looked towards the ground for anything to find. At the very moment, in front of my eyes the broken branches of shrubs disappeared. Hopeless, i knew i would't find anything.
Till then the tiger had already approached close enough for me to panic and scream. As the last option left, i immediately turned around and started running with my full pace, almost sure to die and get eaten by a tiger in a few seconds.
For sure i knew the tiger would grab me from behind and scramble me to the ground. I kept running and running. I heard the paws of the animal hitting ground closer to me every second. My breath finally gave up. I suddenly stopped. So did the animal behind me - for an instant.
The last option- "was to fight all along". Turning myself around i thought to myself, "no, this isn't the time" i can't die this early. I have to fight fight the animal and win over it.
A tint of hope rose in my heart. My heart was pounding harder every second with the thrill and fear. Keeping myself alive seemed to be only thing that mattered now. With hard heart and bare hands, i was even ready to face a tiger and hoped to win over it. I came to know that day- "The hope to stay alive gives the greatest strength". So with all the courage i could gather, in hope of a fight to be won against a wild-ling and and saving myself, i turned around, towards the Tiger.
Behind me - "Meoow!!" a grayish cat stared at me from the ground.
